Wings symbolize unlimited freedom but a single wing is desperate, you can only turn around. Human beings have experienced different ways of being stocked somewhere. In this work, a single wing symbolizes the "lack of hope". To sew a wing to a transparent sheet wants to tell the invisible reasons for being stocked in a location.
The name of the exhibition was “Almere-Istanbul“; the relationship was built through these immigrant birds who even traveled through these cities every year.
