Birzeit Refugee Camp is on the sides of a single, narrow road in Birzeit, West Bank, Palestine. Here the artist decided to do a collective project involving its inhabitants, following her wish of realizing something together that would respond to a common desire and be meaningful for every participant. Dream Box was born from the collective idea of building a box where people could gather and store objects and write words representing their dreams, hopes, wishes, and desires. Dream Box was made out of recyclable materials from the camp and installed in its main yard; over time, its collection kept growing through the contributions of its visitors.
